The ID 10 M can be used for both open areas and for patch work.
The hand operated pump is double acting with ball valves and an air chamber is incorporated to ensure an even and balanced discharge.
The flow is regulated by the stroke. It is of a special construction to handle cold bituminous emulsions and can be easily dismantled for maintenance.
The strainer is positioned to keep the pump fully primed when the operation is intermittent. Always ensure to flush the pump is being left to stand for any length of time. The unit comes on a robust steel chassis with 4 x semi-solid rubber tyred wheels and is suitable for a 210lt drum.
It comes complete with a spray lance with 3m of hose, control valve and 2 X 65º nozzles and a suction probe
and hose.

Specifications

Engine 3,7 kW air-cooled recoil start petrol engine with 6:1 reduction gear. Output speed governed to approximately 500 r.p.m.
Filter Washable stainless steel mesh filter element.
Pump Gear type pump, direct drive from output shaft of engine reduction gear through a flexible coupling. Output when spraying bitumen emulsion is approximately 18lt per minute.
Lance 5m oil-resistant delivery hose fitted to 2m lance including handle grip, shut-off valve and 2 only 65º flat spray adjustable nozzles.
Chassis Of all steel robust design on four 350mm x 100mm semisolid rubber tyred wheels and incorporating handle bar, splash guard, drum and lance carrying brackets.

When operating near kerbs or other structures which need to be kept clean, the built-in bypass system allows the spray to be instantly cut off or reduced by recycling all or part of the liquid delivered by the pump back to the inlet side of the pump.
